In celebration of the 2011 World Environment Day on 5 June 2011, and the positive impact global sustainability technologies have made on the environment, IEEE, the world's largest technical professional association, initiates a call-to-action: asking citizens of the world to take the IEEE Green Your World Challenge by committing to small, yet impactful changes to 'green' their world and support how technology is benefitting humanity and the environment.
